Májenka. Májenka is a clown. Bonkers and loving are the two words that sum her up best. She’s a self-confident female who adores other dogs. She respects older females but isn’t overly submissive. Very young females who are sooo very submissive, she tends to bring up properly. Loudly.
Every day with her is a new adventure. Her head is mostly busy dreaming up mischief. But now (she’ll soon be 3) the odd whiff of adulthood shows up here and there, and she can behave like a grown-up, sophisticated young lady. She’s on the reserved side, but once she falls for you she’ll practically wiggle her bum off and wriggle like a labrador.
In looks she’s a big mix of Arista and Jorin. She has some conformation faults – darker eyes and a shorter muzzle. She’s also inherited a slightly sloping bum from her dad. But I don’t know many Saarloos who are perfect. Neither is Mája, and I’ll keep working with her in my breeding with that in mind. She’s at her cutest when she’s asleep.
